Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: If participants live alone in rural areas, older adults with spouses and children long absent for up to 6 months or longer, will be eligible to participate in the trial. Inclusion criteria are as follows: (1) aged 60 years and above; (2) no physical disability or defect, and can walk independently for at least 100 meters; (3) able to complete a chair stand test, standing up from and sitting down on a chair five times. Able to complete a standing balance and lift feet for at least 10 seconds; (4) no cognitive dysfunction, scoring 24 points or above on the Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE); (5) informed consent to participate in the intervention and willingness to cooperate.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria are as follows: (1) previous or existing serious physical disorders, such as severe heart disease, or advanced cancer; (2) previous or existing serious motor dysfunction, unable to walk independently or complete basic movements; (3) previous or existing serious cognitive dysfunction; (4) mental illness, is receiving drug treatment; (5) currently participating in other related sports training or drug test.
