12 Years to 60 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with drug-resistant epilepsy requiring the implantation of deep brain electrodes for treatment; 2. Patients with at least one contact of the implanted deep brain electrodes passing through the hippocampus; 3. Wechsler Intelligence Scale, full score and memory score both >60; 4. Patients with normal communication skills; 5. 12-60 years old.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with obvious malformations or abnormalities in the brain; 2. Patients with preivious history of craniotomy or intracranial electrode implantation; 3. Patients with IQ < 60, and mental, cognitive and psychological disorders who can not sign the informed consent form or can not cooperate to complete the test; 4. Patients with severe primary diseases of cardiovascular, cerebrovascular, liver, kidney, hematopoietic system or systemic failure.
