18 Years to 65 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria for patients with depression: 1.Age 18-65 years; 2.No gender limitation; 3.Meeting the diagnostic criteria for depressive episode or recurrent depressive disorder according to DSM-5; 4.HAMD-17 score =18; 5.No MECT or systematic psychological therapy received for at least 8 weeks prior to enrollment; 6.Willing to accept antidepressant treatment; 7.Voluntarily participating and capable of signing informed consent. Inclusion criteria for control group: 1.Age and gender matched with patients; 2.Voluntarily participating and capable of signing informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria for patients with depression: 1.History of severe physical illness or organic brain disease; 2.Suffering from other mental illnesses besides depression; 3.Individuals belonging to special populations such as pregnant or lactating women. Exclusion criteria for control group: 1.Various mental illnesses, severe physical illnesses, or positive family history of psychiatric disorders; 2.Individuals belonging to special populations such as pregnant or lactating women.
