Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) ASA physical status I–II (2) Age between 2 and 12 years old (3) Scheduled for elective surgical procedures under general anesthesia (4) No history of systemic diseases (5) Obtaine permission from parents or guardians (sign informed consent form)
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Body weight exceeding 20% of the ideal body weight (2) History of upper respiratory tract infection or cough in the past 2 weeks (3) History of allergy to anesthetic drugs in the past (4) Recent receive medications that may interfere with this study, such as angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors, antidepressants, bronchodilators, or corticosteroids
