Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with primary hypertension admitted to the inpatient department of Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 1, 2021 to December 30, 2023; 2. Complete clinical data and laboratory tests; 3. Age range from 18 to 80 years old.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Secondary hypertension; (2) Patients with acute heart failure, cardiogenic shock, acute coronary syndrome and previous myocardial infarction; (3) ejection fraction < 50%; (4) Myocarditis, cardiomyopathy, valvular heart disease, congenital heart disease, pericardial disease, pulmonary hypertension; (5) Estimates of glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) for acute and chronic infections, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and severe renal insufficiency < 30ml /min/ 1.73m2; (6) Immune diseases, malignant tumors, thyroid diseases, anemia.
