Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Inclusion criteria for drug-resistant epilepsy patients: (1)Diagnosed by pediatricians above the deputy director based on the 2010 International League Against Epilepsy consensus; (2)Age 6-16 years old; (3)The guardian of the subject signs a consent form and is able to cooperate with the MRI examination; (4)Routine brain MRI was negative. 2.Inclusion criteria for the control group:(1)Healthy volunteers aged 6-16 years old;(2)Case group were matched by age,gender,and education;(3)The guardian of the subject signs a consent form and is able to cooperate with the MRI examination;(4) routine brain MRI was negative.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Exclusion criteria for drug-resistant epilepsy patients: (1)Contraindications for MRI examination; (2) Caused by intracranial organic lesions; (3)History of substance abuse; (4)History of neuropsychiatric illnesses or head trauma; (5)With functional impairments in important organs such as the heart, liver, lungs, and kidneys; (6)Fell asleep during the MRI scan; (7)Head movement over 3 mm or head rotation over 3°. 2.Exclusion criteria for the control group:(1)Contraindications for MRI examination; (2) History of neuropsychiatric illnesses or head trauma; (3)Fell asleep during the MRI scan; (4)Head movement over 3 mm or head rotation over 3°.
