Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age =18, singleton pregnant women between 37-42 weeks gestation; 2. Planned cesarean section under combined spinal-epidural anesthesia; 3. Transverse incision in the lower segment of the uterus; 4. ASA II or III classification.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Refusal to sign the informed consent form for the trial; 2. Presence of neurological or psychiatric disorders, as well as a history of neurological or psychiatric illnesses; 3. Otitis externa ; 4. Substance abusers; 5. Cognitive impairments or inability to communicate effectively; 6. Inability to use patient-controlled intravenous analgesia pump.
