Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Age = 12 years old; (2) American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) classification I-III; (3) Patients undergoing thoracotomy due to lung, esophageal, and mediastinal diseases.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Age<12 years old; (2) Patients with chronic pain before surgery and long-term use of opioid and non-steroidal analgesics; (3) Patients with incomplete medical records during the perioperative period; (4) Postoperative back pain or chest shoulder pain related to paravertebral block.
