18 Years to 70 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1)Aged 18 years or above 2)Diagnosed with type 2 diabetes 3)Diagnosed with diabetic nephropathy 4)Signed informed consent 5)Follow-up time > 1 year

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)Patients with type 1 diabetes mellitus 2)Patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD) at baseline 3)Patients with incomplete pathological data or routine blood tests 4)Patients with malignancy, cirrhosis or active infection 5)Evidence of metabolic acidosis (i.e. serum bicarbonate level <15 mmol/L)
