Age
12 Years to 18 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1) wearing fixed appliances/clear aligners 2) good general health and daily brushing habits 3) have more than 20 detectable natural teeth (except the third molar) and at least 5 natural teeth in each quadrant 4) subjects had gingivitis with at least 20 gingival bleeding sites 5) Turesky modified Quigley-Hein plaque index MPI=1.5 6) sign the informed consent and be able to complete the clinical trial as required.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) history of periodontitis or gingival recession 2) antibiotics or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (nsaids) are being used or need to be used during screening 3) oral mucosal lesions, soft and hard tissue tumors 4) General and oral conditions deemed by the investigator to be inappropriate for the study subjects.
