Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Video recording of laparoscopic liver resection surgery performed at Zhujiang Hospital, Southern Medical University between January 1, 2022, and October 31, 2023; (2) Patients with Child-Pugh classification of liver function as A or B; (3) The surgical video material is clear and complete; (4) Patients aged between 18 and 75 years old; (5) Complete clinical medical records of the patients.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Patients with underlying diseases that make them unable to tolerate surgery (such as severe heart, lung, brain, or kidney dysfunction); (2) Preoperative imaging examinations reveal or intraoperatively discover cancerous thrombi in the main and branch of the portal vein, main and branch of the hepatic duct, main and branch of the hepatic vein, and inferior vena cava; (3) Patients with extrahepatic invasion and metastasis discovered during surgery; (4) Patients who are planning pregnancy, currently pregnant, or have unplanned pregnancies; (5) Patients with Child-Pugh classification of liver function as grade C before surgery; (6) Patients with a history of previous treatments such as radiofrequency or microwave ablation, radiotherapy, or liver transplantation.
