Interventions

Mindful exercise + chicory:? Warm-up: Slow jogging, dynamic stretching, static stretching, etc.
? Mindfulness Exercise Training: Use mindfulness attitude for concurrent training, including high-intensity interval training and resistance training
? Mindfulness part includes practices such as mindfulness breathing, mindful eating, loving-kindness meditation, etc. Select one mindfulness theme for practice each week
? Cool-down: Relaxation
? Dietary: Participants drink a mixture of 50 grams of chicory and 100 milliliters of milk squeezed vegetable juice every day.
Exercise + chicory:? Warm-up: Slow jogging, dynamic stretching, static stretching, etc.
? Exercise Training: Implementing HIIT and CT, the intervention does not mention mindfulness, and there are no mindfulness practice tasks after exercise

17 Years to 30 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Undergraduate or graduate students from a comprehensive university; 2.Aged between 17 and 30; 3.Overweight or obese males (BMI = 24.0 kg/m2); 4.Without serious diseases such as hypertension, coronary heart disease, or diabetes, severe COVID-19.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Previously received regular mindfulness practice and physical exercise (in the past 3 months, no regular exercise habits, participating in moderate-intensity exercise less than 3 times a week, each time less than 20 minutes, assessed by the International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ)); 2.Smokers (those who have smoked continuously or accumulated for 6 months or more in their lifetime), drinkers (men consuming more than 25g of alcohol per day, women consuming more than 15g); 3.Engaged in or currently participating in other research projects in the past three months; 4.About to receive or currently undergoing drug treatment; 5.No contraindications to exercise testing, such as severe hypertension, heart disease, peripheral vascular disease, respiratory system diseases, assessed by the Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q); 6.Unable to undergo physical function tests or answer questionnaire questions correctly; 7.Unable to follow the experimental procedures; 8.Refusal to sign the informed consent form; 9.Intolerant or allergic to milk.
