65 Years to 90 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Undergoing general anesthesia for elective cholecystectomy or appendectomy; aged 65 years or older, with no gender restrictions, classified as ASA grade I-III, having a Body Mass Index (BMI) between 18.5 to 24.0 kg/m², and without a history of severe organ diseases or mental disorders.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Communication barriers rendering inability to cooperate; occurrence of unstable angina or myocardial infarction within the past 3 months; heart function classified as NYHA Grade III or higher; presence of facial disease or signs of infection; American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status classification of IV or above; planned postoperative admission to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
