18 Years to 75 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients diagnosed with locally advanced rectal cancer or locally recurrent rectal cancer; 2. The multidisciplinary team confirmed that pelvic exenteration combined with anal reconstruction in situ was feasible; 3. Preoperative examination showed that the tumor invaded two or more pelvic organs, but the tumor was expected to be R0 resectable. 4. There were no unresectable distant metastases. 5. Patients were physically able to tolerate the surgery.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients’ physical condition cannot tolerate the sugery. 2. There were unresectable distant metastases. 3. Pelvic tumor invades above the S1 or S2 nerve roots.
