Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients who meet the diagnostic criteria for MSAP and SAP in the Classification of acute pancreatitis—2012: revision of the Atlanta classification and definitions by international consensus; Age = 18 years old; No use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, anticoagulants, or similar medications within 2 weeks prior to admission.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who have not completed abdominal Contrast-enhanced computed tomography, CT angiography, or vascular ultrasound during hospitalization; Patients with tumors, rheumatic system diseases, chronic pancreatitis, cirrhosis, thrombophilic disease, or with end-stage chronic diseases; Patients with a history of pancreatic, splenic, or portal venous system-related surgery; Patients with a history of portal vein thrombosis; Perinatal or lactating women.
