Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Diagnosed with breast cancer; (2) Both patients and their spouses are willing to participate in the study and sign informed consent; (3) Modified radical mastectomy was performed for the first time in hospital; (4) both husband and wife are =18 years old and =65 years old; (5) Both husband and wife have primary school education or above; (6) The spouse is the main caregiver of the patient.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) The patient had pre-operative limb dysfunction; (2) In addition to breast cancer, the patient has other malignant tumors or diseases that seriously affect life; (3) the spouse has a serious disease, such as chronic kidney failure, malignant tumor, etc.; (4) One of the spouses has a history of mental illness or is taking antipsychotic drugs; (5) Both husband and wife cannot be included in the study; (6) Patients with poor postoperative conditions and unable to cooperate; (7) According to the risk classification model of breast cancer-related lymphedema (BCRL) after surgery, patients were divided into medium-low risk patients (BCRL incidence < 10%).
