intervention group :Each patient received the first dietary instruction at their first postoperative clinic, and then the intervention team will do the remote follow-up on randomly selected one day ev
control group:Participants in the control group will receive the standard counselling that is routinely provided by this hospital about the postoperative diet and management of bowel symptoms.

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Eligible participants were outpatients who had been diagnosed with rectal cancer according to the pathology results 2.The distance between the anal margin and the lower margin of the tumor less than 15cm. 3.The participants aged from 18 to 75 years old. 4. Participants are in the first month after surgery 5. Patients have recovered smoothly, and they have began to eat semi-fluid and fuild foods.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with remote metastasis; 2. Complications of grade III or above occur within 1 month after surgery; 3. Patients with lactose intolerance; 4. Combined with major organ dysfunction; 5. Previous basic intestinal diseases such as inflammatory bowel disease; 6. Previous history of anorectal surgery; 7. Preoperative neoadjuvant radiotherapy was performed; 8. Patients with intraoperative indwelling of prophylactic stomy.
