Interventions

the metoclopramide group :10 mg (2ml) of metoclopramide was given intravenously 30 minutes before anesthesia
the control group:0.9% saline 2ml was injected intravenously 30 min before anesthesia

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: =36 weeks gestational age, over 18-year old, ASA physical status I~III

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria were acute fetal distress; multiple gestations; use of medication that affects gastroin-testinal motility; abnormal anatomy of the upper gastrointestinal tract and previous surgical procedures on the esophagus, stomach; contraindications of metoclopramide or refused to participate in the study.
