Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria for PLC: ? Patients diagnosed with damp-heat syndrome in primary liver cancer (PLC) and those with non-damp-heat syndrome in PLC; ? Age = 18 years; ? No use of antibiotics or other microbial preparations within two weeks; ? Good compliance of patients, and written informed consent signed. Inclusion criteria for hepatic cysts: ? Patients diagnosed with hepatic cysts; ? Age = 18 years; ? No use of antibiotics or other microbial preparations within two weeks; ? Good compliance of patients, and written informed consent signed. Inclusion criteria for the healthy control group: ? Healthy adult males; ? No use of antibiotics or other microbial preparations within two weeks; ? Good compliance of patients, and written informed consent signed.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria for PLC: Patients with secondary liver cancer; Patients simultaneously diagnosed with other malignant tumors; Poor compliance; Pregnant or lactating women; Patients with mental illness. Exclusion criteria for hepatic cysts: Patients with severe heart, liver, lung, or kidney diseases; Patients with hepatic cyst infection; Poor compliance; Pregnant or lactating women; Patients with mental illness. Exclusion criteria for the healthy control group: Poor compliance.
