Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The study population was adult patients with sepsis (aged 18 years or older). All individuals were admitted to the ICU for the first time. The diagnosis of sepsis was based on the SEPSIS3.0 criteria.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Age less than 18 years; missing disease scores; missing vital signs, including respiration, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, heart rate, etc.; missing laboratory test results, including neutrophils, lymphocytes, platelets, white blood cells, hemoglobin, etc.
