Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: a. Age over 18 years old; b. Patients who presented to our emergency department within 24 hours after snakebite; c. Patients who have not received any wound treatment in other hospitals (except for iodine disinfection); d. Main manifestations of the wound include redness, swelling, and tissue damage, with the circumference of the affected limb being greater than 2cm compared to the unaffected limb; e. Snakebite occurred on the limbs; f. Voluntary participation in this study and signing of informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: a. The wound primarily presents with bleeding and pain; b. Patients with dementia, severe mental illness, or those who are comatose or unable to communicate effectively are ineligible for participation in this study; c. Patients with concomitant conditions such as diabetes or other diseases that affect wound healing, autoimmune diseases, or other malignant conditions, as well as those with coagulation disorders; d. Patients whose snakebite wounds received other treatments (except for iodine disinfection) or physical therapy (such as red light irradiation) before admission.
