Vitamin D group:Dietary counseling combined vitamin D supplementation (5000 IU for first dose then 1200 IU/d)
Control group:Dietary counseling combined placebo supplementation

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. 18~60 years old; 2. Deficiency or insufficiency of VD (serum 25(OH)D =24 kg/m^2, and weight change < 5 kg in the past 12 months.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Those who regular use of any drugs and supplements containing vitamin D and/or its active forms within 6 months prior to study initiation; 2. With vitamin D hypersensitivity; 3. Being peri-menstruating or postmenopausal; 4. With hyper-phosphorus, hypercalcemia and hypercholesterolemia; 5. With diabetes mellitus or severe cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases; 6. With acute inflammation; with digestive diseases; 7. With cardiac or renal insufficiency; 8. Currently in pregnancy, lactation and perimenopause; 9. With severe smoking (> 5 cigarettes per day) or drinking (men > 4 and women > 2 standard drinks/week) were excluded.
