Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1) Meet the relevant diagnostic criteria for depressive disorders in the U.S. Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, 5th edition (DSM-5). 2) Age 18-60 years old and gender; 3) HAMD-24 score =20 at enrollment; 3) Being treated with a stabilization regimen of clinically routine medications; 4) Subjects were able to understand and comply with the study requirements and signed an informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) Current or previous diagnosis of bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, neurodevelopmental disorder, neurocognitive disorder according to DMS-5 diagnostic criteria; 2) Patients who are currently at serious risk for suicide with a HAMD-24 suicide risk entry of =3; 3) Patients clinically assessed as medically refractory; 4) MECT treatment within 4 weeks prior to enrollment; 5) Work or living environment with special light conditions, including but not limited to, such as basement, dark room, tunnel, studio; or working night shift for a long period of time; 6) Pregnant and lactating women.
