Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (I) One partner of the couple was diagnosed with colorectal cancer (any stage); (ll) the spouse was the primary one informal caregiver of the patient; (llI) adult married couples (age >18 years old); (IV) neither patient nor spousal had a verbal communication disorder; (V) both partners of the couple were willing to participate in the caregiver program.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (l)the spouse was not the primary informal caregiver of the patient; (ll) spousal caregivers have serious physical or the spouse was not the mental illness themselves; (lll) either partner was unable or unwilling to participate in the program.
