Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: A prospective, single-center, self-controlled study will be conducted in 3 departments of Beijing Hospital. The data of antibiotic utilization, cost as well as clinical outcomes (length of hospital-stay and mortality rate)will be extracted directly from the hospital information system (HIS). The screening criteria of the investigated departments: The top 5 departments in terms of the increase in the intensity of antimicrobial use in 2023 compared with 2022.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Exclude 2 departments: 1.Small sample size: the number of discharges in the last quarter of 2023 was less than 100 or the departments with least number of discharged patients. 2.Intensity difference: the intensity of antibacterial drug use was less than 10% different from the target value of the department.
