Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients must meet all of the following conditions: 1. Age =18 years and =90 years. 2. With COPD diagnosis, that is, after the use of bronchodilators, FEV1/FVC<70%. 3. Had a preliminary diagnosis of AECOPD and was admitted to hospital for treatment. AECOPD is defined as an acute worsening of respiratory symptoms in COPD patients requiring additional treatment. 4. The subject agrees to participate in the study, and the subject or legal representative signs the informed consent for clinical study. 5. The medical history, examination report, examination report and other clinical data entered into the medical record system of Zhongshan Hospital Affiliated to Fudan University are complete.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who met any of the following criteria were excluded: 1. Have comorbidities, including underlying diseases related to immune system disorders (AIDS, hematological malignancies, autoimmune diseases, hematological diseases, etc.), chronic inflammatory diseases (chronic kidney disease, psoriasis, inflammatory bowel disease, etc.). 2. Have any other factors that may affect the count and distribution of peripheral blood cells, such as pregnancy, special drugs, and treatment history (organ or bone marrow transplantation, radiation therapy, anti-tumor drugs, immunosuppressants, colony-stimulating factors, etc.). 3. Lack of clinical data resulting in failure to diagnose or lack of treatment information. 4. Other conditions deemed unsuitable for study participation by the investigator.
