Experimental group:Information support, emotional support, instumental support, appraisal support
Control group:By staff nurses in the hospital involves unstructured inpatient disease-related education and biweekly follow-up phone calls after discharge regarding unstructured verbal support

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The stroke survivors should meet the criteria before their caregivers are recruited into the study who meet the criteria: 1) first time acute stroke 2) having been diagnosed with either ischemic or hemorrhagic stroke 3) having moderate to severe physical disability as indicated by the score of Barthel Index less than 60 after the stroke survivors meet the criteria, whose caregiver should further meet the criteria: 1) first time stroke caregiver 2) aged 20-59 years old 3) the score of depression will be less than 20 4) co-residency with patients 5) having mobile phone and using WeChat application in daily life 6) not participate in any support group and 7) willing to participate in the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The stroke survivors have been diagnosed with psychiatric disorders such as depression, schizophrenia or bipolar assessed.
