Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Meets the diagnostic criteria for pediatric metabolic-associated fatty liver disease as defined by the 2020 International Expert Consensus Statement. (2) Conforms to the standards for screening overweight and obesity in school-age children and adolescents issued and implemented by the National Health Commission in 2018. (3) Aged between 6 and 12 years old. (4) Possesses good communication and comprehension abilities, capable of expressing feelings and intentions accurately. (5) The legal guardian of the research subject agrees to participate in this study and signs the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Those who have taken drugs such as atorvastatin in the past 3 months. (2) Individuals with comorbid cardiovascular diseases, renal dysfunction, or cancer. (3) Those currently participating in other research studies.
