Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: The study was conducted at a hospital in Shanghai and participants included hospitalized patients and accompanying family members. All participants were autonomous and had no medical education, and were adults aged 18 years or older.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Attention check questions were set after both the experimental comic material and the contextual material, and those who answered incorrectly were considered to have not read the material carefully and were removed as invalid data. A total of 180 participants were recruited and a total of 28 were excluded on this basis.
