Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. The patient and his family members were aware of the study and signed the consent form; 2. Serum PTH and Ca2+ concentrations were at normal levels before operation; 3. Patients with at least unilateral thyroidectomy; 4. The patient had no history of head and neck surgery or radiotherapy. 5. On the first day after surgery, serum PTH was lower than the lower limit of normal and was included in Experiment Three.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with organ dysfunction or inability to tolerate surgery; 2. Patients with recurrence of central lymph nodes after operation; 3. Patients who could not complete the review on time during the follow-up; 4. Patients requiring postoperative radioiodine therapy.
