Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with high anal fistulas treated with modified TROPIS between January 2021 and January 2023 in the National Center for Colorectal Disease Treatment,Nanjing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine and in the Department for General Surgery of the People's Hospital of Datong County. 2. Aged =18 years old, male or female; 3. Patients with normal anal sphincter function; 4. Patients who had not undergone anal fistula surgery prior to treatment or who had only undergone incision and drainage during the abscess stage.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis and other inflammatory bowel diseases, radiation enteritis, tuberculous anal fistula. 2. Pregnant and lactating women. 3. Patients with mental retardation or(and) mental disorders; 4. Missing interviewees.
