18 Years to 70 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Possibility to place one or several dental implants in posterior area; 2. Complete and reliable preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative information and photographs can be found; 3. Patients had been followed for a minimum of 5 years.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients were excluded if they were experiencing pain in the temporomandibular joint; had a history of periodontitis; had undergone therapy involving occlusal adjustments, composite resin restorations, crown restorations, orthodontic procedures, or tooth extraction after implant prosthesis delivery; had failed to exhibit a stable occlusal relationship (premature contact and/or occlusal interference); or had parafunctional habits (clenching and/or bruxism) detected by inquiry and examination.
