Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: AIS group: 1) Diagnosis of acute ischemic stroke; 2) age > 18 years; 3) admission within 72 hours of AIS onset; 4) The patient has informed consent and signed an informed consent form. Healthy people group: 1) Residing in Beijing for more than 5 years; 2) Age>18 years old; 3) No cardiovascular or cerebrovascular diseases.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: AIS group 1) Severe co-morbidities affecting survival, including tumors, massive gastrointestinal bleeding, and cirrhosis; 2) Unstable vital signs and coma; 3) Use of antibiotics, prebiotics or probiotics within the previous 1 month. Healthy people group: 1) Previously suffered from serious illnesses, including tumors, significant gastrointestinal bleeding, and cirrhosis; 2) Chronic inflammatory diseases, including gastritis, enteritis, hepatitis, periodontitis, etc; 3) Use antibiotics, prebiotics, or probiotics within the first month.
