Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Age = 18 years old; 2. Patients who underwent vitrectomy for PDR at our hospital; 3. At least 1 optical coherence tomography (OCT) scan within 3 months after vitrectomy suggesting macular edema, i.e., CRT = 300 µm and/or subretinal fluid and/or intraretinal fluid within 500 µm of the center of the macula with a CRT 0.05 (decimalized); 5. Consent to participate in the study
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Combined retinal vein occlusion, uveitis, ocular trauma, age-related macular degeneration or other ocular or systemic conditions that may cause macular edema: 2. Have received vitreous cavity drug injections after vitrectomy or postoperatively ; 3. re-supplemental retinal laser photocoagulation after vitrectomy; 4. silicone oil filled eyes; 5. Re-vitrectomy; 6. follow-up for less than 6 months; 7. women during pregnancy or lactation; 8. Those who cannot cooperate due to major systemic diseases such as stroke, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular accidents or other reasons
