positive control group:Traditional transitional therapy (resin restoration, reattachment of crown fragment and removable denture)

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 8-17 years; 2. A nterior teeth with significant coronal tooth defects (>= 2/3) caused by dental trauma, caries or dental development anomalies, and need post-and-core restoration; 3. Pulp treatment was finished, including apical barrier, apexification or root canal treatment; 4. Imaging examination: The affected tooth is a single canal tooth with no root fracture, no lesions in the periapical tissue, no obvious deformities in the root, and no obvious developmental abnormalities in the root structure; 5. The patients and parents are willing to accept treatment and signed the informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.The tooth defect reached the deeper part of the subgingival region (below the crest of the alveolar ridge), and the residual root cannot meet the standard of crown root ratio for post-and-core crown restoration; 2. Combined with severe displacement injury with a risk of external resorption of root or alveolar bone resorption; 3. There is a risk of occult root fractures/fissures; 4. Severe malocclusion, and the affected teeth may be extracted during orthodontic treatment; 5. Unable to cooperate with treatment due to systematic condition.
