Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Recruit and screen 100 patients with mild/moderate cognitive impairment in the acute phase of cerebral infarction (within 14 days of onset), including 50 patients with phlegm dampness syndrome and 50 patients without phlegm dampness syndrome. Diagnostic criteria for acute ischemic stroke: refer to the "2018 Chinese Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Acute Ischemic Stroke". Diagnostic criteria for cognitive impairment after mild to moderate stroke: Referring to the "Expert Consensus on Poststroke Cognitive Impairment Management 2021" released by the Vascular Cognitive Impairment Branch of the Chinese Stroke Society in 2021, after MMSE scoring and MOCA scoring, it meets the diagnostic criteria for cognitive impairment after mild to moderate stroke. Diagnostic criteria for stroke: refer to the "Stroke Diagnosis and Efficacy Evaluation Standards" formulated by the Brain Disease Emergency Collaborative Group of the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1995. Diagnostic criteria for phlegm dampness syndrome: Referring to the "Ischemic Stroke Syndrome Element Diagnosis Scale", if the syndrome element score of phlegm dampness syndrome is = 10 points, the diagnosis of this syndrome element is established.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Severe primary diseases such as heart, liver, kidney, and hematopoietic system combined; Acute disturbance of consciousness; Mild cognitive impairment prior to stroke; Mental and physical disorders that lead to dementia and brain dysfunction due to other reasons; Apart from cognitive impairment, there are no accompanying focal signs or symptoms of cerebrovascular disease.
