Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) The subjects are aged between 45 and 90 years old. (2) Within the past 6 months, they have undergone brain imaging examinations at West China Hospital, Sichuan University, to confirm or exclude Alzheimer's disease. Relevant examination reports and basic clinical information are available. (3) The participant or their legal representative understands the content of the informed consent form and associated risks, and voluntarily and in writing agrees to participate in the study, including the collection of peripheral blood and clinical information at the hospital.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Severe systemic diseases (such as shock, sepsis, advanced-stage tumors, etc.), significant organ dysfunction, and traumatic brain injury can have evident effects on blood biomarkers, except for Alzheimer's disease. (2) Received any treatment targeting the core pathology of AD, such as anti-Aß immunotherapy. (3) Alzheimer's disease is not the primary cause of cognitive impairment in patients. (4) Currently, there are significant issues with alcohol or substance abuse. (5) One of the factors for avoiding blood sampling is the history of syncope, needle phobia, coagulation disorders, local skin infections, etc.
