Meeting the diagnostic criteria for MS and TCM syndrome differentiation (Diagnostic criteria for MS: In order to be consistent with previous studies, the diagnostic criteria for MS in the 2013 edition of the Chinese Guidelines for the Prevention and Treatment of Type 2 Diabetes were still used as reference, and the following three or more diagnostic criteria were required: ? abdominal obesity (waist circumference =90 cm for males and =85 cm for females); (2) Hyperglycemia: fasting blood glucose =6.1mmol/L or 2h postprandial blood glucose =7.8mmol/L and (or) have been diagnosed with diabetes and treated; (3) Hypertension: blood pressure =130/85 mmHg and (or) has been diagnosed with hypertension treatment; ? TCM syndrome differentiation diagnostic criteria: refer to the "National Standards of the People's Republic of China · TCM Clinical Diagnosis and Treatment terminology Syndromes", "TCM Diagnostics" (Li Candong. China Traditional Chinese Medicine Press, 2016), Syndrome Element Differentiation (Zhu Wenfeng. People's Medical Publishing House, 2008), the threshold of the contribution score of symptoms and signs to syndrome elements collected according to the four diagnosis information collection table is 100, but when the score of a certain syndrome element is =100, the syndrome element can be diagnosed.
