Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Case group inclusion criteria: : 1) non-obese (BMI<25kg/m2) 2) diagnosis of polycystic ovary syndrome 3) age 20-35 years Control group inclusion criteria: 1) non-obese type (BMI<25kg/m2) 2) regular menstruation with normal ovarian size and structure 3) age 20-35 years old
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients who met any of the following exclusion criteria were excluded: 1) other endocrine diseases; 2) acute infection in the past 2 weeks and glucocorticoid use; 3) taking B vitamins and folic acid within 6 months; 4) hypertension, liver and kidney diseases; 5) Carotid intima-media thickness (IMT=1.0mm) measured by ultrasound; 6) carotid plaque formation 7)Age less than 20 years old or more than 35 years old 8) BMI=25kg/m2
