Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: The inclusion criteria were 1. Confirmation of diffuse renal lesions is based on laboratory tests, clinical symptoms, kidney biopsy pathology results, et al. 2. Agreeing to undergo multi-mode ultrasound examination. 3.age (between 4-16 years) and based on the diagnostic criteria. 4. Control group was subjects with asymptomatic urinary abnormalities. The asymptomatic urinary abnormalities were subnephrotic-range proteinuria, and/or microscopic haematuria and without renal damages. The nephritic group was subjects with haematuria, proteinuria, kidney function impairment and could be accompanied by edema or hypertension.The nephrotic group were subjects with nephrotic syndrome.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Presence of congenital kidney variations, such as solitary kidney, horseshoe kidney, duplicated kidney, congenital renal hydronephrosis, etc.2. History of kidney surgery. 3.Presence of space occupying lesions in the kidneys, such as pelvicalyceal cysts, renal tumors, etc. 4. History of radiation or chemotherapy
