Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age = 60 years; ASA grade I~III, undergoing ERCP procedures under sedation.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Severe bradycardia (HR 35; (4) Anticipated airway difficulties; (5) Allergies or contraindications to the drugs used in the study; (6) Mental illness, long-term use of sedative and analgesic drugs, or alcohol abuse; (7) Inability to communicate with research staff.
