Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria for Atherosclerosis complicated with Glucolipid Metabolic Disorders: (1) Subclinical atherosclerosis: Carotid ultrasound findings suggesting diffuse intima-media thickening =1.0 mm, stenosis <50%, calcified plaque or atheromatous plaque without clinical symptoms. (2) Dysglycemia: Impaired Fasting Glucose(6.1mmol/L=FBG<7.0mmol/L,and PBG<7.8mmol/L);Impaired Glucose Tolerance(FBG<7.0mmol/L,and 7.8mmol/L=PBG<11.1mmol/L);Diabetes Mellitus(FBG=7.0mmol/L,or PBG=11.1mmol/L). (3) Dyslipidemia: TC=5.2mmol/L,or TG=1.7mmol/L,or LDL-C=3.4mmol/L,or HDL-C<1mmol/L. (4) Ages range from 18 to 70 years old. (5) Patients were informed and voluntarily signed an informed consent form. Inclusion criteria for Healthy population: (1) Population without atherosclerosis, or glucolipid metabolic disorders. (2) Ages range from 18 to 70 years old. (3) Population were informed and voluntarily signed an informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria for atherosclerosis complicated with Glucolipid Metabolic Disorders: (1) Clinical symptoms associated with atherosclerosis, such as angina pectoris, myocardial infarction, cerebral ischemia, refractory hypertension, and intermittent claudication; (2) Chronic gastrointestinal diseases such as chronic gastritis, peptic ulcer, inflammatory bowel disease, gastrointestinal tumors, or after gastrointestinal surgeries that may affect gut microbes; (3) During pregnancy or lactation period; (4) Combination of other cardiovascular, cerebrovascular, hepatic, renal, hematopoietic, immune system and other serious primary diseases or malignant tumors (including patients with unilateral or bilateral renal artery stenosis), and other diseases that may affect cytokine levels; (5) Using of Hypoglycemic Drugs, Lipid Lowering Agents, Antibiotics, Probiotics, Prebiotics, or Synbiotics in the last 2 weeks before enrollment. Exclusion criteria for healthy population: (1) During pregnancy or lactation period (2) Using of Hypoglycemic Drugs, Lipid Lowering Agents, Antibiotics, Probiotics, Prebiotics, or Synbiotics in the last 2 weeks before enrollment.
