Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Patients with DR who meet the diagnostic criteria outlined in the DR diagnosis and treatment guidelines established by the Chinese Fundus Diseases Group in 2014; 2) Healthy individuals who do not have systemic underlying diseases or ocular vascular lesions; 3) 18-80 years old.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Individuals with the following conditions: autoimmune diseases (such as systemic lupus erythematosus, systemic sclerosis), tuberculosis, mental illness, hypertension, atherosclerosis, age-related macular degeneration (AMD), acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS), pneumonia, myocarditis, and various malignant tumors. Additionally, individuals with a history of HIV infection or other infectious diseases are excluded; 2) Patients with a history of eye or organ transplantation; 3) Patients with ocular vascular or inflammatory diseases other than DR, such as keratitis, uveitis, or CMV retinitis; 4) Individuals who have received anti-inflammatory treatment, hormone/immunosuppressant therapy, or have had acute illnesses within the past 6 months; 5) Eyes with severe opacity of the refractive media, as indicated by a low OCTA image scan quality index of less than 6.
