Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Aged 18 years or older; (2) Scheduled for cardiac surgery with cardiopulmonary bypass (excluding patients with cyanotic heart disease requiring right-to-left shunting); (3) Informed and consented to participate in this study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Currently participating in other clinical trials; (2) Suffering from Parkinson's disease or other neurological disorders affecting cognitive function; (3) Preoperative inability to communicate due to coma, severe dementia, language barriers, severe hearing or visual impairments, or terminal illness; (4) Use of antibiotics, probiotics, or gastrointestinal motility drugs in the past month; (5) Severe renal impairment requiring renal replacement therapy; (6) Severe liver impairment (Child-Pugh class C); (7) Doctor or investigator deems the presence of other conditions unsuitable for participation in this study.
