Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. ASA class I to III; 2. age 18 to 65 years; 3. body mass index 18 to 27.9 kg/m2; 4. thoracic surgery under elective general anesthesia with double-lumen bronchial intubation.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. anticipated difficulty in intubation; 2. recent history of cold, sore throat, hoarseness or pharyngolaryngitis; 3. indwelling gastric tube; 4. history of severe cardiovascular and cerebral vascular diseases; 5. severe abnormalities of liver and renal function; 6. allergy to the drugs used in the study; 7. severe diabetes mellitus, infections, and other diseases inappropriate for the use of hormones; 8. verbal communication barriers or other reasons for not being able to cooperate; 9. refusal to sign the informed consent form.
