Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Gestational age at birth <32 weeks and birth weight <1500 g, admission to hospital within 24 hours of birth, complete perinatal documentation

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Severe infectious diseases, chromosomal abnormalities, congenital malformations of the gastrointestinal tract, severe malformations of other organs, and comorbid inherited metabolic disorders.
