Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. The participant should meet the diagnosis of metabolic syndrome. According to the joint definition proposed by 6 international academic organizations, diagnosis of metabolic syndrome requires the presence of 3 or more risk factors, including: i. central obesity, with a waist circumference=90cm (males) or =80cm (females) ii. blood pressure =130/85 mmHg iii. fasting blood glucose =5.6mmol/L iv. triglycerides =1.70mmol/L v. high-density lipoprotein cholesterol <1.03mmol/L (males) or <1.29mmol/L (females) 2. Aged 20-59 years old. 3. With normal talking, reading and writing abilities, and proficiency in using smartphones. 4. Informed consent and voluntary participation.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. This project focuses on primary prevention, so patients with clear diagnosis of coronary heart disease, diabetes, and stroke will be excluded. 2. Patients with a clear diagnosis of mental illness such as schizophrenia, depression, mania or bipolar disorder will be excluded. 3. People who could not conduct normal level of physical activity or normal diet will be excluded, such as patients with cancer, osteoarthropathy diseases, heart failure, dilated cardiomyopathy, heart valve disease and other cardiovascular metabolic diseases. 4. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding will be excluded.
