Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Military cadets, aged 18-24 years old; 2.Presence of pain behind or around the patella; 3.Pain for greater than 6 weeks in duration; 4.a pain score of =3 5.Pain with 2 or more of the following activities: squatting, up and down stairs, running, kneeling, hopping, or other functional activities that increase the load on the patellofemoral joint in the flexion position;
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. History of knee surgery; 2. History of back, hip or ankle injury or pain; 3. Instability of the patella; 4. Lesions or pain on palpation or examination of any structure in the knee; 5. Any neurological condition affecting gait.
