Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1) The patient was between 45 and 70 years old at the time of presentation. 2) Meniscus tear can be seen on MRI. 3) Sound mind. 4) Willingness to follow the follow-up plan. 5) Written informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) Acute surgery due to knee interlock or trauma. 2) One of the tested knee joints has the following related injuries: a. Symptomatic partial ACL tear or any complete ACL tear as determined by clinical examination (positive Lachman test and/or positive Pivot Shift) with an MRI indicating ACL injury; b. Complete PCL injury; c. Cartilaginous changes; Level 4 of the Kellgren Lawrence Scale of osteoarthritis, visible on X-ray; d. Lateral/posterolateral ligament complex injury, significantly increased relaxation. 3) Other surgical history of the subject's knee joint, other than diagnostic arthroscopy. 4) Tumor suspected to be malignant on MRI. 5) Obese patients with BMI>35. 6) Patients with ASA 4-5 (Appendix D), which may interfere with recovery. 7) General diseases that affect physical function or systemic drug/steroid abuse (e.g. Rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, gout, pseudogout). 8) Any other medical conditions or treatments that may interfere with the completion or evaluation of the trial, such as contraindications to MRI or surgery. 9) Drug or alcohol abuse. 10) Patients who cannot speak or read Chinese.
