Free diet group:Free diet
Nutrition plan 1 intervention group:Quickly restore protein intake after TIPS
Nutrition plan 2 intervention group:Gradually restore protein intake after TIPS
High animal protein group:Total amount of protein in diet is constant, and animal protein accounts for 2/3.
Low animal protein group:Total amount of protein in diet is constant, and animal protein accounts for 1/3.

18 Years to 75 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age 18 to 75 years; 2.Diagnosis of decompensated liver cirrhosis; 3.Planning to perform TIPS.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Recurrent attacks of overt hepatic encephalopathy(more than 2 times); 2. Previous TIPS or surgical shunt; 3. Spontaneous peritonitis that cannot be controlled with internal medicine treatment; 4. Child-Pugh score is greater than 14; 5.Pre-operative combined infection, shock, and other conditions that cannot tolerate invasive operations and treatments; 6. Dysfunction of organs including heart, lung, kidney and brain, and pulmonary hypertension; 7. Liver cancer beyond Milan criteria and other malignant tumors ; 8. Extremely low level of education, unable to cooperate with neuropsychiatric tests for covert hepatic encephalopathy; 9. Pregnant and lactating women.
